We draw our adventures

We threw stones into the river, we played sand, we climbed up the green hill. Then we drew and painted our adventures.

The adventures continue

Lately Angel doesn't seem to like to go outdoors, she would rather stay at home to draw and play toys than to go out to the parks and playgrounds. I missed our adventures and seeing her curiosity about the outdoor and nature.

But today, Angel agreed to go out with me. I'm really glad to see the little explorer is back.

Precious photos

As a photography hobbyist, I try to capture kids in their perfect happy moments. But I realized that sometimes the most memorable, precious photos are the ones where they're sad, disappointed, cranky, annoyed, or angry.

Angel was scolded for being very naughty, so she just stood there being sad, waiting for us to "sayang" her. When mama finally said "come here", she burst out in tears. After that she noticed my camera and said "Daddy don't take picture".

These photos are hardly technically perfect or portfolio worthy, but they show what Angel (or any other kid) really is like. I will look back at these photos with a warm feeling in my heart.
